READY TO CREATE YOUR ADVENTURE?
Our team has carefully curated a weekend full of activities to choose from all designed to empower you on your outdoor journey. This is a great opportunity to try new activities, enjoy ones you already love, and create a weekend you will remember forever. Leave inspired to go on more adventures! We are thrilled that you are interested in joining us at this Escape. Please keep in mind that we have created this schedule a year in advance of the event and some changes may be necessary prior the Escape.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR SCHEDULE

  1. We recommend choosing one more active class per day (rock climbing, mountain biking, paddling, long hike) and one of the less active classes / workshops per day to pace your self for the weekend.
  2. Please do not sign up for the same class/workshop more than once to ensure all participants have the chance to try different activities.
  3. If you are interested in a class that is full please sign up for the waitlist. We do have the ability to increase capacity in some classes if there is enough interest.
  4. Please do not double book time slots.
Following these guidelines will help ensure that you don’t overdo it and that everyone will get to have a weekend full of different experiences.

Intro to Stand-Up Paddleboarding

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Enjoy an introduction to stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) through the heart of Bend’s historic Old Mill District. Mountain views and local wildlife will delight you, while also experiencing the urban energy that’s put Bend on the map.

TCKC’s expert guides will teach you strokes to make your paddling more efficient while telling you about the many fascinating historical, geological and current facts relevant to the area. Guides will also discuss the basics of reading water, river safety and stewardship.

PLEASE NOTE: Both Friday's SUP and Kayak classes take place at the same venue and on the same section of river, so we recommend choosing either a SUP or a kayak class.

PROVIDED: All paddling equipment (life jacket, paddle, SUP or kayak) are provided. Water shoes or sandals recommended. Shuttle to and from off site paddle location included.
